LAMAR COUNTY, Texas (KTEN) – A tornado briefly touched down west of Pat Mayse Late in rural Lamar County late Wednesday evening, according to the National Weather Service office in Fort Worth, Texas.

Storm spotters in Lamar County were able to capture the tornado throwing debris in the air before lifting and not touching down again. The tornado has been given an EF-0 rating by the National Weather Service. Small tree limbs and light tin metal damage was observed by local law enforcement south of Pin Hook.

KTEN viewer Amber Harper was looking to the northeast from Sumner, Texas and captured the funnel cloud after the tornado had lifted.
