DURANT, Oklahoma (KTEN)- Two Durant Lion football players are going to be suiting up on Saturdays this fall.

Kicker Braylen Lyday won't even be leaving the city as he's headed to Southeastern.

Defensive lineman Clay Couch is also staying in state. He signed with Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

Both are multi-year varsity letterman. And after giving everything they've had to Durant, both are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue their football careers.

"It feels really good. I feel blessed," Lyday said. "Working hard like that day in and day out, it feels really nice that it's paid off."

"It feels really good to be able to sign this paper and go to college and play college football," Clay added. "I'm just really ready to go. I'm pretty happy."
