Fatal crash on US 75 in Denison

DENISON, Texas -- A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle wreck along a busy stretch of US 75 in Denison on Wednesday afternoon.

A pickup truck and a passenger car were also involved in the fatal accident near the Loy Lake Road exit.

Investigators said the biker and the car were hit by the truck after they slowed down to stop. The motorcyclist was killed in the crash.

On Thursday, Denison police identified the victim as 29-year-old Dane Edward Wolfe of Muskogee, Oklahoma. The incident remains under investigation.

Traffic on US 75 was diverted to the service road until the wreckage could be cleared.
