ARDMORE, Okla. -- Some Ardmore residents got the shock of their life early Saturday morning.

A black Cadillac sport utility vehicle involved in a high-speed police pursuit went airborne and struck their house in the 700 block of Carter Street SE around 2 a.m.

The driver fled the scene, and while the residence suffered extensive damage, no one inside was hurt.

Police Capt. Keith Ingle said investigators do have a suspect in mind.

"Officers were able to identify him just by seeing who was driving the car before he fled, so he was known to the officers," Ingle said.

Police expect to make an arrest soon.
