MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla.  -- The suspect in Thursday's triple homicide near Powell, Oklahoma, is now in custody.

According to Marshall County Sheriff Danny Cryer, a woman told his office that a friend, identified as 56-year-old Kevin Moseley, confessed he shot and killed his wife and two stepchildren.

Sheriff Cryer released the names of the victims:

  • Monica Moseley
  • Jonathan Horath, 16
  • Stephanie Horath, 12

A manhunt led authorities to Abilene, Texas where Moseley was apprehended. He was being held in the Taylor County Jail pending transfer back to Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the case.
