Masked duo robs Ardmore truck stop

ARDMORE, Okla. -- Ardmore police are looking for a man and a woman who robbed a truck stop early Friday morning.

Sgt. Brice Woolly said the masked duo entered the the Flying J Travel Center at Interstate 35 and Prairie Valley Road around 3:30 a.m.. They knocked down a clerk and took cash from the registers.

"It is likely that these suspects did spend some time at the business before the robbery occurred," Woolly said..

The clerk was not injured and the amount of money stolen was not disclosed.

Police said the pair then fled in a silver late model four-door sedan with damage to the back of the vehicle on the driver's side.
