SHERMAN, Texas -- The accused killer in the 2017 homicide on a Howe highway has been returned to Grayson County.

Kelvon Eugene Gray of Kansas City arrived Tuesday at the Grayson County Jail after being indicted by a grand jury with first degree felony murder.

Court records show Gray has been charged with the drive-by killing of 20-year-old Tahbari Collins. Collins was driving his car on US 75 in Howe when he was shot and killed by gunfire from another vehicle in August 2017.

Gray was arrested in Kansas City on June 12. No date was set for his initial court appearance. Gray's bond is set at $250,000.
