DENISON, Texas -- Rescue teams were called to Grandpappy Point Resort and Marina on Lake Texoma just before 4 p.m. Sunday after two personal watercraft collided.

Grayson County Game Warden Daron Blackerby said the drivers, who are friends, were trying to "splash" one another when one of the craft struck the other.

There were three people aboard one of the watercraft. One passenger, a 25-year-old woman, was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital with a broken arm, facial fractures and broken ribs, according to family members. Officials reported she was in and out of consciousness.

Two males on the same watercraft -- the operator and a juvenile -- were also injured. One has a broken collarbone, broken arm and broken ribs, a family member said. The other has a broken jaw. They were being treated at Texoma Medical Center.

The three were expected to recover.

No one on the second watercraft was injured.
