SHERMAN, Texas -- Sherman police are searching for seven individuals in connection with two separate crimes.

The first happened on November 28 when four men robbed the Winners Sweepstakes at gunpoint.

Police said the suspects were able to get away with about $1,000 before driving away in a silver passenger car.

Investigators believe the man seen handling the people inside the shop goes by the name "Tex," and can identify the two other people involved in the crime.

Police are also searching for a man and two women who are connected to a financial scam.

The three approached an elderly woman at the Sherman Walmart on February 6 and defrauded her out of $6,000. The victim had been promised payment if she helped the three recover lottery prize money.

If you have any information about the suspects in either case, contact the Sherman Police Department.
