ARDMORE, Okla. -- Ardmore police are looking for a person of interest in a series of child molestation and rape cases in which there may be multiple victims.

Investigators said Jorge "George" Maldonado, 40, has been living in Ardmore but recently failed to appear at his workplace.

He is known to drive a bright red Chevrolet Sonic four-door sedan, and police said he has family in the Ardmore area and also in Love County where he may be trying to avoid law enforcement.

Police said they received information that Maldonado could also be attempting to flee to Mexico.

If you have any information about Maldonado, call 911 or contact Ardmore police at 580-223-1212.
