Third conviction in Sherman hotel clerk murder case

SHERMAN, Texas -- A Sherman woman was sentenced to 25 years in prison Monday in connection with the 2017 murder of Sherman hotel clerk Brandon Hubert.

Nikeya Grant, 25, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery as part of a plea deal.

Two others have already pleaded guilty to charges in connection with Hubert's death at the Quality Suites on August 11, 2017.
