LONE GROVE, Okla. -- Video footage of the moments leading up to the death of an inmate at the Lone Grove City Jail this week has been released.

We want to warn you some of the video is graphic and may be disturbing to some. In it you see everything from Scott Lee Pumphrey picking up the bag to medical officials giving him CPR.

The Lone Grove Police Department gave us this video and it shows Scott Lee Pumphrey being booked into the Lone Grove jail. He is being taken in by a Wilson police officer. The Lone Grove jail houses inmates for Wilson police.

Pumphrey is being booked into the Lone Grove jail when he attempts to pick something up off the ground. The Wilson police officer notices and Pumphrey decides to run.

Pumphrey heads into an adjacent room and the officer uses a taser on him. For the next few minutes the officer attempts to get whatever Pumphrey put in his mouth out.

A collection of officers arrive for back up and perform the Heimlich maneuver on Pumphrey, but it proves to be ineffective. Pumphrey is then brought to the ground and eventually loses consciousness.

Medical officials stand by making sure they still feel a pulse, but after a few minutes they stop feeling one and immediately start CPR. The CPR continues until he is taken to Ardmore’s Mercy Hospital.

Pumphrey was pronounced dead at Mercy Tuesday afternoon.
