MADILL, Okla. -- Stryve Biltong, a dried meat snack company, cut the ribbon on its new manufacturing facility in Madill on Thursday.

The plant will support more than 100 new jobs in Marshall County, and that's expected to have a big impact on the local economy.

"It's just a great job market for us, as far as employing the right kind of people for us," said Strtyve Biltong CEO Gabe Carimi. "It's great to keep money local here. A community that did have a large manufacturer here and bring it back."

The company expects the plant will be fully operational by January.
