ARDMORE, Okla. -- What started as a domestic call in Ardmore led to a high-speed chase south on Interstate 35 early Thursday morning.

Police pursued suspect Joshriquez Walker on the highway at speeds topping 100 mph. His vehicle was finally stopped in Love County just short of the Texas border after an almost 30-mile chase. Spike strips were used to puncture the suspect vehicle's tires.

Walker, 26, is charged with attempted burglary, use of a firearm, running a roadblock, and eluding police.

Law enforcement said they recovered an AK-47 as evidence.
