AUSTIN, Texas -- After the mass shooting in Las Vegas on Sunday night, police in the Texas capital are reviewing security plans for the annual Austin City Limits music festival.

The outdoor event spans two weekends, and kicks off this Friday. Some 450,000 people attend the six-day festival each year.

Austin police Chief Brian Manley said they've been preparing for months, but they're now concerned about the possibility of a Las Vegas shooting copycat.

The Austin City Limits festival has only received a few inquiries from fans who no longer want to attend, but representatives confirm they will offer refunds. Contact Front Gate Tickets via email or phone at 512-674-9300.

The Texas Department of Public Safety will also increase its presence at this year's festival.
