CHOCTAW COUNTY, Okla. -- A Hugo man was killed Sunday night when his pickup truck was involved in a one-vehicle accident on State Highway 109W.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 36-year-old Michael Burton was traveling east when his pickup left the highway and then rolled as he tried to regain control.

Burton was partially ejected from the cab, was pinned in the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers investigating the incident said Burton was not wearing a seat belt and that the driver had an "odor of alcohol."

No other injuries were reported.
