Posted:

PONTOTOC COUNTY, OK -- A man was killed Friday when authorities say a violent domestic dispute in Pontotoc County turned deadly.

Sheriff John Christian says Danielle McWethy shot her boyfriend twice after he assaulted two children in her home and came at one of them with a knife.

It happened about 7:30 Friday morning at McWethy's home in the 400 block of Sidney Street in Francis, Oklahoma.

That's about 8 miles northeast of Ada.

Deputies found the boyfriend dead in the front yard.

So far no charges have been filed.
