DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern head coach Ron Faubion has announced the signing of junior college transfer pitcher Jessica Seay for the 2015 softball season.
Seay hails from Harrah, Okla., and transfers joins the Savage Storm after two seasons at Cowley County CC in Kansas.
She becomes the fifth member of SE's recruiting class this season, joining catcher Jordyn James, pitcher Ashley Moore, catcher/third baseman Kalyn Ramber, and infielder Breanna Smith.
Seay has posted a 49-11 record over her two seasons at CCCC, earning back-to-back first team NJCAA All-American honors in the circle.
In her first season she was 28-1 with a 1.66 ERA and 144 strikeouts before earning All-Jayhawk Conference honors and Jayhawk East Conference Freshman of the Year recognition before being named All-Region and All-American.
In her second year she was 21-10 with a 1.72 ERA and 204 strikeouts, tossing 24 complete games in 31 starts, again earning All-Conference and All-Region recognition before taking her second All-American honor.
In high school Seay helped Harrah HS to a pair of state tournament and was an All-State selection in 2012.
