BELLS, TX -- The Bells Panthers eight-and-under Dixie League team is heading to the state tournament after an incredible perfect 37-0 record.

The young team has scored 555 runs this season while holding opponents to just 83 total and have a great shot at winning it all.

Last season as a six-and-under team they'd finish state runners up, but this time around they like their odds to take it in Texarkana and advance to the world series.

"It's very good. All the teams have been very undefeated this year, so it's great," Jaxon Kinkade said.

"It would be very exciting, it would be the first Bells team to win state and I want to prove to my buddies, they think we're little 8U and we can't make it, hey, look at this, we're in state so I'm excited," Kanyon Ives added.

They'll open against Valliant, Oklahoma when the tournament starts next weekend. Pottsboro also qualified.
