PLANO, TX -- A north Texas senior living center is raising money for a good cause through the sale of some pretty interesting works of art.
Silverado Memory Care Community in Plano held a silent auction this weekend featuring the artwork of veteran artist Paul Bierbrier and other Silverado residents.

More than 100 people attended and the event raised more than $1,200.

All the money will benefit the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Dallas Chapter.

Coordinators say the auction was a big success.
