Sherman Man Indicted After Allegedly Fighting Wal-Mart Employee

SHERMAN, TX -- A Sherman man accused of fighting a loss prevention officer outside Wal-Mart has been indicted by a grand jury.

Jared Gibson, 21, is charged with robbery. Back in November, police say Gibson got away with merchandise near the garden center and ran to the Cinemark movie theater.

That's where an off-duty Ector police officer spotted him running and held him until Sherman officers could arrive, police said.  Gibson is being held in the Grayson County Jail in lieu of a $15,000 bond while awaiting trial.
