Ardmore taking six-game winning streak to Altus

ARDMORE, OK -- The Ardmore Tigers will be playing Week 11, but there's still work to be done these last two weeks.

First up: a trip to Altus as they try to win their sixth straight and stay unbeaten in district play.

If they can stay focused after the three-and-a-half hour bus ride and head back to Ardmore winners - Week 10 against Lawton MacArthur will be one of the biggest games statewide.

"We don't want to have a three-way tie, we want to control our own destiny and vie Week 10 for a district championship. That's been our goal all season, we set that goal a long time ago and we're getting close to that goal, we've had to deal with some adversity, our kids have certainly been resilient through some injuries and those types of things. But it's a big game, probably, the reality is, the biggest game of our season thus far," head coach Doug Wendel said.

Kick-off from Altus at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
