Do or die Friday for Sherman Bearcats

SHERMAN, TX -- The Sherman Bearcats are in a three way tie for the fourth and final playoff spot in district 13-4A with a 2-2 district record.

They'll have the tough test of taking on the defending district champion Lovejoy Leopards Friday night, a team also knotted up in fourth.

They put themselves behind the eight ball a bit falling to Denison and Wylie East in consecutive weeks, but they'd bounce back against Royse City and now can make a huge statement if they knock off the champs.

"We can't afford to look past anybody. I mean, just like last week we couldn't afford to look past Royse City, we can't afford to look past Lovejoy. There's nobody else on our schedule except Lovejoy this week and that's who we've got to play if we want to go to playoffs, we got to win Friday night," head coach Gary Kinne said..

The Bearcats are calling for a "Pink Out" Friday night to honor Breast Cancer awareness month. Kick-off at 7:30.
