LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - Just about the only bright spot in the Kansas pass attack this season has been the guy who was perhaps the least expected to make a contribution: tight end Jimmay Mundine.
He's also the only guy catching touchdown passes.
After getting demoted to second string earlier this season, Mundine has TD catches in four straight games heading into Saturday's matchup with No. 6 Baylor. The streak started with a score against Louisiana Tech, and includes TD grabs against Texas Tech, TCU and Oklahoma.
Mundine figures to be even more valuable given questions at quarterback. Montell Cozart had his redshirt taken away last week and could steal time from incumbent Jake Heaps this week.
