Teens Chased And Shot At After Blowing Up Mailbox

HOWE, TX -- A dangerous prank leads to criminal charges for a group of teens in Grayson County.

The Grayson County Sheriff's Office says a man that lives in the 500 block of Ford Road in Howe saw a car full of teens stopped in front of his property.  

Seconds later he says his mailbox exploded and the teens sped off.  The teens returned a little later and the man and his son tried to catch up with them in their car.  

Shots were fired at the suspects vehicle and a 16-year-old boy received minor injuries.  

The sheriff's office says the teens admitted to blowing up the mailbox. Charges are pending.

The sheriff's office says charges may also be filed against the man and his son for shooting at the teens.  The case is still under investigation.
