Denison Police search for convenience store robber


DENISON, TX - Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Denison convenience store at gunpoint early Sunday morning and threatened the clerk, saying he knew where they lived.

It happened just before 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning at the Lone Star Convenience Store at 3029 Texoma Drive.

The store clerk says it was a Caucasian male wearing jeans a camouflage jacket with an orange liner and a black toboggan on his head with a slight beard growth on his face.

Police say the clerk claims he pointed a hand gun at them and demanded cash from the register.

After taking the money the man left the store in a maroon SUV and was last seen heading Northbound on Highway 75.

No one was hurt. Denison police are investigating.
