GRAYSON COUNTY, TX - After nearly 3-decades on death row a Texas man may soon get a second chance.  Today Grayson County Judge Jim Fallon handed down his findings in the appeal trial of convicted murderer Lester Bower.  Fallon is recommending to the criminal court of appeals that Bower get a new punishment trial based on "good character evidence."  Bower was convicted in 1983 of killing 4 men in an airplane hanger near Sherman.  His lawyers say DNA evidence found at the scene of the crime proves he didn't do it.  But Fallon says Bower has failed to provide any new evidence that proves he's innocent.  He says this is just a recommendation to the criminal court of appeals.  They could rule on it within the next few weeks.
