SHERMAN,TX---If you haven't had enough shopping yet, you might after tomorrow. Small Business Saturday was added to the list of shopping holidays two years ago.
The day focuses on the little guys and reminds shoppers to support local retailers who sometimes get overlooked during this busy shopping season.
One small business says there are many advantages to shopping local, the main one being more personal customer service.
"We offer a lot of customer service and I think that alone from the big box is a big draw for us," Dennard's Western Wear Store Manager Shane Avery said.
American Express cardholders can receive a $25.00 credit to their statement if they enroll in the Small Business Saturday program and spend more then $25.00 at a qualifying location.
