SHERMAN, TX -- Mr. Consistent, Sherman senior wide receiver J.T. Luper, kept his massive offensive production going last week setting the SHS all-time single season record in catches and yardage.
His reliability all season long is a major reason the 'Cats are a No. 1 seed in the Class 4A Division I playoffs.
"He's just put together the best season as a receiver in school history. He really has, and that's pretty lofty with Joseph Harvey as one of his teammates who's put up some unbelievable seasons, but Joseph has been hurt a little bit," head coach Gary Kinne said. "But J.T. has just really been there, been steady and just has played, the last two weeks he's had 19 catches in two weeks. So it's been pretty amazing."
Sherman will take on Texas High in the bi-district round 7:30 Friday night at Paris.
