ADA, OK ---- It's been a memorable season thus far for the Ada Cougars. And it's been even more memorable for the 2013 senior class. These seniors are going into the last game of the season undefeated for the first time in their high school careers.
We caught up with some Cougar seniors to find out what their favorite moment of the season has been so far
"Here at Ada we preach chasing the football and just getting everyone around the ball. I think it was maybe against Ardmore. It was one of the games in the beginning of the season. We had all eleven players on defense in the tackle. It was just crazy getting up, looking around and everybody is just standing around the ball. That's one of the greatest things I remember," senior fullback/linebacker, Dalton Thompson said.
"Probably against Tecumseh when I came back. That was a big ball game, expected to be a big ball game and we blew them out. So that's what I was excited for...to come back against them," senior defensive end/tight end, Andrew Leach said.
This season has been particularly special for quarterback Wyatt Robson. He's thrown for more than 1,500 yards and 22 touchdowns in just nine games. Looking back at the season, one game stands out a little bit more than the others.
"My most memorable moment was probably beating Ardmore for the first time in my career; it was the first game of the year, 35-14. Finally, to beat them, arch rival, hadn't been able to beat them yet. It was just a big win for us to start off the season. That's probably the most memorable moment," senior quarterback, Wyatt Robson said.
The 2013 Cougar seniors will take on Douglass for the District championship Friday at 7:30.
