Good Morning...
Today... Thanks to a cold front completely making it through Texoma overnight, temperatures this morning are in the lower to mid 20s. Gusty winds are making temperatures feel much colder than this outside. For this afternoon, temperatures will warm to the upper 30s, lower 40s with gusty winds out of the NorthWest 10-20 mph. Winds will make temperatures feel a good 10 degrees colder than what you're reading on your thermometer throughout the day.
Tonight... Partly cloudy skies and light winds out of the NorthWest will give way to the coldest night of the week. Temperatures will drop into the upper teens, lower 20s but winds will remain light.
This Week... Wednesday will bring increasing clouds ahead of our next storm system. Temperatures are expected in the lower 40s by afternoon. A low pressure system is moving in off of the Baja coast. The low pressure system, coupled with cold arctic air is unfolding to be quiet an interesting weather situation for late Wednesday night through Thursday. The storm system will take a more southerly track than what we've seen all season. This means that the heaviest snow accumulations can be expected in North Texas with Southern Oklahoma possibly only seeing a light dusting of snow. 1-3 inches of snow is expected to accumulate by Thursday night. Clouds will be with us Friday with temperatures returning to the low 40s.
