(KTEN) — Straight-line winds caused damage in southern Lamar County, Texas, late Thursday afternoon.  

Amateur radio operators reported damage along State Highway 24, five to eight miles south of Paris.

Flash flooding was reported in Sherman as storms moved across Grayson County, and hail was reported — ranging from golf ball size in Savoy and Bonham to tennis ball size in Luella.

Trees were reported down on power lines near Honey Grove.

Wind damage was reported to a convenience store at US 75 and Haning Street in Howe, Texas.
