MARIETTA, Okla. (KTEN) — People working Marietta's drive-through relief center have received numerous donations in the last week.

Contributions have been made by several organizations and individual donors, including Timothy Hendrix of Sanger, Texas.

After seeing tornado damage to Marietta, Hendrix requested donations for survivors through a Sanger Facebook group.

Since then, he's made two trips to Marietta, filling up a trailer with donated goods.

"All in all, I think it was about an $18,000 donation worth of goods that we were able to bring up between both days," Hendrix said. "Even if we're in a time of need, it's still okay to help other people in need at the same time."

Hendrix said he's also been able to gather donations for Sulphur tornado victims as well.
