Sunday Night - A warm and humid night with temperatures only falling to the low 70s. A stray shower cannot be ruled out with decaying severe thunderstorms from the northwest that could track into Texoma. South winds will remain breezy at 10 to 15 MPH.

Looking Ahead - Sunshine stays put through Monday and that summer-like feel will extend through Tuesday before a cold front cools Texoma off slightly. Temperatures will peak in the upper 80s to low 90s with increased humidity through Tuesday. Heat index values could approach the triple digits Tuesday, so make sure you are staying hydrated! An unsettled pattern will set up Tuesday onwards as the subtropical jet moves in across Texoma. Speaking of, a level 1 and 2 risk has been hoisted for all of Texoma Tuesday in anticipation of all hazards being possible as a cold front passes through. The cold front will eventually stall somewhere in Texoma (possibly along the Red River) early Wednesday morning, igniting another day of severe weather chances as humidity levels remain high. A level 2 out of 5 risk has been hoisted for the entirety of Texoma Wednesday and Thursday as this stalled front remains situated over the region before eventually lifting north as a warm front late Thursday as a dry line builds to the west. This dry line could spark storms, allowing them to push into Texoma overnight Thursday into Friday. All hazards once again appear possible. These risks could change over the next few days, so stay tuned! Heavy rainfall is possible once again next week with 1-2" in the forecast. Some localized areas could pick up around 3".
