SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) - The Grayson County Sheriff's Office is looking to fill some slots in the department.

A job fair was held Monday at the Grayson County Justice Center. Out of 100 spots, 19 position are open. Grayson County Jail Administrator Sarah Bigham says more help is needed as plans become finalized for the upcoming jail expansion.

"We're trying to get as many of our current spots filled because we know with the additional space, we'll need additional staff members on top of the 19 that we currently already need so we're taking step to get as many of those spots filled as quickly as possible," Bigham said.

Groundbreaking for the jail expansion is set for November.
