CARTER COUNTY, Okla. (KTEN) — A Wilson man is behind bars after being charged with 10 counts of child sex crimes last week, including the possession of child pornography.

A caller to the Carter County Sheriff's Office accused Jason Honea, 44, of possessing child porn.

When deputies arrived at his home, they said they found more than 100 different materials depicting child pornography, leading to a charge of aggravated possession of child porn.

Sheriff Chris Bryant detailed some of the 10 charges Honea is now facing:  "Rape by instrumentation; child sexual abuse; rape, first degree by fear or force; manufacturing child pornography; and then a child sexual exploitation."

Investigators said the crimes occurred between March 2018 and April of this year. The sheriff's office added that two young women have been identified as victims in the investigation.

"This has obviously been going on for a while, and this is kind of uncommon," Bryant said. "These victims in these cases will need help forever, and, we want to try and get them as much help as we can do."

The sheriff said a tip played a key role in Honea's arrest.

"Somebody... they saw something and they said something," Bryant said. "If anybody hears anything or assumes, or sees anything to this nature, please notify your law enforcement ASAP."

The investigation of Honea's activities by the Carter County Sheriff's Office is continuing. His bond was set at $5 million.
