SILO, Okla. (KTEN) — Three burglary suspects are in custody after breaking in to the wrong house in Silo, Oklahoma, early Tuesday morning.
Bryan County deputies were first called to the residence on Texas Street around 11 p.m. Monday to take a report about a burglary.
Less than two hours later, there was another 911 call from the same homeowner who reported that shots had been fired.
Bryan County Sheriff Johnny Christian said the homeowner and a neighbor detained two of the suspects; the third fled into the woods after being wounded in the groin by gunfire from the resident.
Deputies found the injured suspect about six hours later. He was taken to Texoma Medical Center in Denison for treatment.
No names were released.
