DENISON, Texas (KTEN) – Happy Easter, Texoma! The weather can be rather extreme when it comes to the holiday. Easter Sunday can occur as early as March 22 and as late as April 25, so the likelihood of severe weather occurring on the holiday is increased.

In terms of temperatures, Easter can be rather warm with high temperatures getting as high as 94° on March 31, 1929, April 12, 1936, and April 19, 1987. Easter can be cold too with the record lowest high temperature of 35° occurring on March 30, 1975.
