Wednesday Morning- A potential record breaking warm morning today! Temperatures in the mid 70s to start. Sherman's record warmest morning temperature is set at 74 degrees from 1927. Mostly cloudy with some sprinkles possible early. Today's storm threat arrives later in the evening, closer to 5 pm for areas east of I-35. Afternoon temperatures could hit the 90s with heat index values approaching the triple digits.

Looking Ahead - Texoma does it all over again as a cold front swings through Wednesday. A level 3 out of 5 risk is in place along/east of US 69/75 with a level 2 risk extending west to I-35 with all hazards appearing possible. Timing will be 4 pm - 10 pm Wednesday, with most of the storms confined to E NTX and SE OK. Flash flooding remains a concern with continual threats of heavy rainfall rates over short periods of time. Rainfall totals will be generally up to half an inch Wednesday with higher totals ahead for next week. Temperatures fall into the 70s Thursday onwards after Wednesday's front clears. We stay dry through Saturday before more storm chances return Sunday through early next week. Temps will be in the 70s and 80s next week.
