ATOKA, Okla. (KTEN) — Jordan Rainer has gained fame through the television show "The Voice," where she has joined Reba McEntire's team.

On Saturday night, Rainer hosted a meet-and-greet and concert in downtown Atoka, Reba's hometown.

"I've looked up to her for a long time; you know, she's kind of the hometown hero," Rainer said. "I started the audition process before I knew she was going to be on The Voice, so that was just icing on the cake."

Rainer is one of few who have achieved the second greatest thing next to winning the season on "The Voice": All four coaches turning their red chair.

"I was praying for just one... and of course you know whose chair I was hoping would turn... but to see one, two, three, four... all turn around, I swear my soul left my body," Rainer said.

Music is in her family's DNA.

"It was the only thing just right out the womb that I was naturally good at," Rainer said. "My parents are musicians, so there were always instruments around the house, and I was always reaching for one and tinkering with it," Rainer said.

If the music industry didn't work out, comedy could be a close second.

"I was as dumb as a box of rocks. I cried over my math homework every night. I knew I wasn't going to cure cancer or build bridges or anything important," Rainer said. "So, I thought, 'Jordan, if you don't want to be homeless, you better get really good at music."

Fellow contestant Kristen Brown, who is part of Team Gwen, accompanied Rainer at the show.

"Going into it, I either wanted Team Gwen or Team Reba, and when they both turned, I was faced with the biggest choice of my life," Brown said. "Sorry, Atoka, but I did go on Team Gwen."
