PAULS VALLEY, Oklahoma (KTEN)- Sitting at 0-3 in district play, Pauls Valley desperately needed a win on Thursday to keep its playoff hopes alive.

With the game tied at 14 in the second half, the Panthers' desperation kicked in. They rattled off 20 unanswered points to defeat Plainview 34-14.

Pauls Valley will look for a second-straight district victory when Dickson comes to town next Friday.

Plainview, meanwhile, will have the tough task of hosting powerhouse Heritage Hall next Friday.
