LUCAS, Texas (KTEN) - Van Alstyne softball scored three runs in the first two innings and maintained a lead to beat Farmersville 5-2 in game one of the regional semifinals.

Game two is Friday, May 19 at 6:30pm. Game three if necessary will be Saturday, May 20 at 11:00am.
