Student injured in Grayson College altercation

DENISON, Texas — Grayson College is investigating an altercation between two residential students that led to one of them being hospitalized.
The incident at the entry of Jones Hall happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday. Administrators said the injured student was last reported in good condition at Texoma Medical Center. College police took another student into custody.
The nature of the injury and the circumstances of the fight were not detailed.
“We take the safety of our campus community seriously,” said Grayson College President Dr. Jeremy McMillen in a written statement. “We are thankful for the quick response of GC Housing Staff and the GCPD.”
The school said the investigation into the incident is continuing.
