ATOKA, Okla. (KTEN) — A bus driver for Colbert Public Schools is facing child pornography charges.

Charles Lee Forester, a resident of Lane, Oklahoma, was arrested February 2 by the Atoka County Sheriff's office on felony charges of buying and possessing child porn. He has entered a plea of not guilty; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15.

Colbert Public Schools Superintendent Jarvis Dobbs told KTEN they were notified by authorities when Forester, 52, was arrested. He is on paid suspension and prohibited from school property pending additional information. 

Dobbs said Forester will be terminated as soon as legal grounds can be established. The superintendent added that there was no indication that the bus driver had engaged in any illicit conduct with Colbert students. 

Bond for Forester was set at $750,000.
