JOHNSTON COUNTY, Okla. (KTEN) — Johnston County deputies made a large drug bust on Thursday night.

The discovery came during a traffic stop, Sheriff Gary Dodd said in a Facebook post.

"Deputies conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle, which yielded just under 150 pounds of vacuum-sealed marijuana," Dodd said.

Dodd estimates the street value of the seized cannabis between $250,000 and $500,000.

The driver was identified only as a Chinese national and Oklahoma resident who was arrested on trafficking charges.

"Not all information is being released at this time as this is still an ongoing investigation," Dodd said.
