Emergency SNAP benefits set to end
OKLAHOMA CITY (KTEN) — Oklahoma Human Services announced that emergency SNAP benefits will end in late February.
Clients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program once known as food stamps have received larger payments than they would normally qualify for since the start of the pandemic.
Benefits will return to pre-pandemic levels starting March 1. OHS said the alert will give families time to prepare for the reduction in payments.
