GAINESVILLE, Texas (KTEN) — Gainesville police have identified a suspect in the January 16 double homicide of two teenagers.

Gainesville resident Samuel Gary Lee King, 17, is facing an outstanding capital murder arrest warrant in connection with the shooting deaths of 19-year-old Anthony Delgado and a 16-year-old juvenile.

"King was identified during the investigation as the person responsible, and investigators made numerous attempts to communicate with him," police Chief Kevin Phillips said in a written statement.

King is described as a white male, 5'-8" tall, 130 to 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo on his lower left arm.
