ARDMORE, Okla. — A Blanchard, Oklahoma, man faces multiple charges after a weekend crash that left his wife dead.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Joshua Childers, 31, was driving a pickup truck on U.S. 70 near Lake Murray Drive in Ardmore when he crashed on Saturday night.

His wife, 32-year-old Amber Childers, was first taken to her home in Marshall County by car; then by paramedics to a Madill hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A two-year-old boy in the truck was not injured in the crash.

Joshua Childers is facing charges including first degree manslaughter, driving under the influence, and child endangerment.
