CADDO, Okla. (KTEN) — Caddo Public Schools is presenting a new bond proposal to taxpayers in the name of science.

The $1.4 million price tag would fund construction of two new science classrooms in the main high school building.

"Science, STEM education is the hottest item right now," said Superintendent Lee Northcutt. "This would give us ability to push us forward and help our students in the future."

Caddo's current science classrooms are nearly 25 years old. The bond vote takes place on August 23.
