Friday Night - Cooling down into the low to mid 70s tonight with mostly clear skies. No significant rain chances to speak of.

Looking Ahead - That disturbance in the Gulf was not successful in organizing, this will limit our chances for rain into the weekend. Can't rule out a few isolated showers during the day Saturday and Sunday. Rain clears by Monday, which will be perfect for any outdoor plans. Temperatures crank up by Monday. A mix of upper 90s and triple digits. Triple digits enter the forecast Tuesday with little to no relief in sight.

Tracking the Tropics - We now have Tropical Storm Bonnie in the Caribbean. This is not likely to impact the Lower 48. This will track west into the Pacific, likely strengthening to a Category 1 Hurricane later in the weekend. There are also two other disturbances that we are currently watching. The disturbance off the South Carolina coast has a 20% chance of developing in the next two to five days, while the disturbance in the Caribbean has a 10% chance of developing within the next two to five days.
